I’m Marika, a dedicated illustrator and visual artist with a Bachelor’s degree in art and art history. I’m experienced in a range of mediums, with pen and ink on paper being my first and longest love. An extroverted introvert, I’m happily adept at working both independently and collaboratively with a team. The entire process of a project, the journey from a seedling idea to a ‘finished’ piece, the uncovering and the discovery, is what pulls me in every time. Making something from nothing is the greatest thrill for me. I think the pairing of art and words can have a profound impact on the shape of our thoughts and perspective, affecting how we interpret the world.
